Pyro takes help of IBM for Its Solutions Offerings


IBM has announced that Pyro has engaged IBM as its strategic partner in a US$19- million engagement over a period of 5 years. As a strategic advisor, IBM will help Pyro with the development, testing and management of its large portfolio of various products and solutions as well as value-added services (VAS) in the telecom industry domain.

Pyro has witnessed significant growth in the past few years and has established itself as a leading player in the mobile-technology solutions market. While the demand of business is expected to increase manifold, it was critical for Pyro to have a competitive advantage through innovative and more customer-centric service offerings. The engagement will enable Pyro to develop cutting-edge products, better address customer needs, and achieve faster go-to-market.

During the course of the multiyear engagement, IBM will be responsible for providing application development, testing and management services, along with offering its deep expertise in the telecom domain. IBM will also help Pyro in establishing industry best practices in terms of project management and knowledge management by bringing in improved processes, methodologies and standards.
